These terms cover the Charts for Jira Dashboards app. Your purchase, billing and refunds run through the Atlassian Marketplace and are governed by Atlassian's own terms; these cover the app itself.
It runs a JQL query you configure, counts the results grouped by a field you choose, and draws the result as a chart on your Jira dashboard. That is the whole of it. It is read-only: it never creates, edits or transitions anything in your Jira.
We have built this to read the whole result set rather than the first page, and to say on the chart whether it managed to. That second half is the part we will not compromise on: if the count could be incomplete, the chart says so.
What we cannot promise is that a count matches your Jira database exactly. Jira's search can be curtailed by an app access rule set by your organisation, and its index can lag an issue created moments ago, and in both cases Jira returns a normal-looking response. So the chart reports on what Jira returned for your query. Where we can detect that something was withheld, we say so; where Jira gives no signal, neither can we.
The app is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
Do not treat a chart as an audit. If a number matters legally or financially, check it in the issue navigator. A chart is a view, not a system of record.
A chart that could not be counted completely says so underneath itself, in plain words, rather than drawing a confident picture of partial data. If you find a case where it reports a count as complete when it was not, that is the bug we most want to hear about, because it is the exact failure this product exists to avoid.
Support is by email, in English, on a best-effort basis during UK and US business days. There is no contracted response time. If that matters to you, say so before buying rather than after.
Atlassian bills you, not us. Pricing, renewal, cancellation and refunds follow the Atlassian Marketplace terms shown at the point of purchase. We do not hold your card details and never see them.
Covered in the privacy policy. In short: the app runs inside your own Atlassian instance, makes no outbound calls, and stores no personal data.
Uninstall the app whenever you want. The gadget goes with it and your dashboards are otherwise untouched. This app stores nothing of yours, so there is nothing of yours left behind.
If these change, the date at the top changes with them. A change that materially reduces what the app does will be said plainly on the Marketplace listing, not only here.
